Privacy Policy
Effective: August 25, 2026
ShittyRobots.com ("we," "us," "the site") provides free network diagnostic tools — showing you your public IP address, approximate location, browser/device details, and similar connection information. This page explains what data we collect, why, and how it's used.
Information We Collect
Network & Device Information
When you visit the site, our server automatically receives your IP address and the HTTP headers your browser sends (such as User-Agent, Accept-Language, and referrer). Our diagnostic tools also read basic client-side device information via your browser — screen resolution, viewport size, timezone, language, and cookie settings. This data is what the tools exist to show you; it is generated in real time for your own view and is not linked to any account or user profile, since the site has no accounts or logins.
Third-Party Geolocation Lookup
To show approximate city/region/ISP information, your IP address is passed to a third-party IP-geolocation service (ip-api.com) at the moment you load the page. That lookup is subject to ip-api.com's own privacy practices, which are outside our control.
Port Checker Tool
If you use the port checker, the port number you enter is used only to perform a live connection test against your own current IP address. This request is not logged or stored.
Cookies & Advertising
This site may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies — including the DoubleClick cookie — to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of participating vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.
Data Storage & Retention
We do not maintain a database of visitor information, and diagnostic results shown to you are not stored beyond your own request. Our hosting provider may separately retain standard infrastructure access logs (e.g., IP address, timestamp, requested URL) for a limited period for security and operational purposes, consistent with typical web hosting practices.
Children's Privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
